Important Message

On August 24, 2026, the U.S. government Department of Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control suspended several general licenses allowing services related to Iran and individuals in Iran. Specifically, General License G, which had allowed U.S. colleges and universities to provide certain educational services to people in Iran. Because of this change, the University of California is no longer able to file or process applications, accept application fees or tuition payments, or provide certain educational services to individuals who are currently located in Iran or are outside Iran but ordinarily live in Iran.

UC immunization requirements

The UC Immunization Policy requires Incoming Students to obtain the vaccinations and screening as recommended by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH)opens in new tab for colleges and universities. All Incoming Students must also complete an online screening questionnaire for tuberculosis (TB), based upon CDPH guidance.
